New Parents' FAQs
Welcome to The Playford Aquatic Club. As new parents with a swimmer who has recently joined our club, you no doubt have a million questions. Hopefully this Frequently Asked Questions sheet answers some of them.

FAQ: What's with the storeroom where the drop files are kept?
The Storeroom at the end of the Pool is where the Coach keeps his White Board and other Training Equipment, and the Club has erected hooks along 3 walls where swimmers are able to store their training equipment. Over time, all swimmers should purchase a Net bag, flippers, hand paddles, pool buoy, which can be stored in the storeroom (at your own risk) or taken to and from the pool for training sessions. All items should be clearly labelled with the swimmers name on it with a waterproof marker.

FAQ: When do I register with Swimming SA and when do we receive our (meet) entry swipe cards
Once your application has been formally approved by the PAC Committee, a swimming SA membership is created on line by our Registrar.
Once the online membership is created by our Registrar, Swimming SA will process the membership, and then on a monthly basis, arrange for Swimming SA swipe cards to be made, and then posted to the club.
FAQ: Uniforms - PAC uniform requirements and what is expected for children to wear
At the time of joining PAC, it is desirable that all swimmers purchase the following uniform items;
- PAC Club shirt/polo top
- PAC Club shorts
- PAC Swimming Cap (first one is provided free when joining)
- PAC Tracksuit top
Other uniform items can be purchased at a later time as required.

FAQ: Uniforms - How do we order uniforms and what is the expected waiting time from order to delivery?
The Starter envelope that each family was given when initially joining, containing the membership and registration forms, also included a Club’s Uniform list. The Uniform List is also available on our website under Club Resources. A hard copy is attached to this FAQs sheet.
